Designed by SHoP Architects, Hudson’s is a global destination spanning 1.5M GSF across two buildings, featuring GM’s future global headquarters, The Detroit EDITION hotel, residences, retail, dining, event spaces, and activated public realms. Pophouse designed the lobby, courtyard, and atrium—the development’s social heart for tenants and visitors to gather and connect.

The atrium pairs a tech-forward, fluid design with biophilic elements to support wellness. A skylit ceiling brings in natural light, creating a calm retreat from Woodward Avenue. Layered seating heights encourage collaboration, focus, and moments of respite, while a palette of natural materials and sleek metals reinforces the blend of innovation and nature. In the courtyard, bamboo acoustic wall panels enhance comfort, and a central bar anchors social energy.
